Notes on Sires in the Pedigree of Bills Cutter
Cutter Bill the legendary cutting horse was not only World Champion Cutting Horse himself but also had the rare distinction of being the sire of a World Champion Cutting Horse and of a World Champion Halter Horse. Cutter Bill had held every major honour a cutting horse can win. Cutter Bill died in 1982 and it is certain that there will never be another son as good as Bills Cutter to carry on this important breeding line in Australia. Royal King, himself an American Quarter Horse Association Champion, is one of the top ten Maternal Grandsires of American Quarter Horse Association champions. Royal King was fifth leading U.S. Sire of Show Register Merit Qualifiers in 1982. Bills Cutter's full sister, Bill's Jazabell, was the 1976 NCHA World Championship Cutting mare; she dies soon after having her only foal, Jazabell Quixote, which in turn went on to win the 1982 NCHA Non-Pro Cutting Futurity. Bill's Jazabell showed such athletic endurance as well as natural cutting ability that she was known as "Wonder Woman" in the USA and Bills Cutter has the same talents in abundance.
