Ned starting to show interest in working. He is casting well, balancing the sheep and learning direction, lift and drawing the sheep, he also shows good force. Not a bad effort for his first attempts. |

| This is Spider Snr, she was only a young dog in these pictures, working yarding cattle on 35,000 acre property at Injune QLD. She was an excellent paddock and yard dog. Although she is a heading dog she would also drive stock. She was loyal and devoted to duty with a natural instinct and aptitude to work.
She was sold to Jim and Marg Witherspoon of Katherine, Jim flew down to see her work and wanted her straight away, she left sitting in the front seat of the hire car and flew with him back to Katherine were she worked Buffalo for them and was a much loved member of the family. Sadly she died in a freak accident. They were so devastated when they lost her and said that nothing could ever replace her.
The mother of Ned is Spider Senior's full sister. | |
